This school was established in BS 2036(1980 AD) as a Pre-Primary School in Kalikanagar, Butwal-12, Lumbini, Nepal. Mr. Megendra Mani Gurung and his better half, Mrs Nirmala Gurung from Darjeeling, India, were the founders of this school. Those days there were very few private schools in this area. Siddhartha was one of the pioneers in this field.

But it was in BS 2050(1993 AD) when Siddhartha English Boarding School revived. A new set of team of teachers took-over. That was a new perspective to run a school by a group or a team consisting only of teachers and academicians, instead by any individual. We believe that academicians or teachers, who are relevant to the field of education, can understand it better than the people irrelevant to it.
